'FLASHFLOOD IN KELANTAN IS A WAKE UP CALL'
How was the victims now?are they still in the tent or already live in their new house?how about the 'janji janji made by our prime minister for post-banjir?is it going smooth as they plan?how many billon dana provided by goverment?this is all still have a big question mark especially for rakyat marhaen macm kita ni kais pagi makan pagi kais petang makan hmmm
But here we are not gonna talk about all that technical thing and of course we are not gonna talk about politic!yeah!absolutely not..
How about we talk and discuss about the opposite side?not to blame anyone(siapa kita nak menghukum)but we have the right to speak maaa:p..nevermind
Try look on ourself..is this flood gave an impact on us?(of course not because we are not living in kelantan LEULS) but look on our heart,'amal'.is that already enough?
Dont you think Allah try to test on us..see how fast we gonna reflect ourself about this tragedy and become a better person,better muslim and muslimah..
The reason for the flooding in Kelantan is not just the extensive logging, nor is it God’s wrath or climate change. The real reason for the disastrous floods in Kelantan is decades of neglect and under-investment by the government – both state and federal. It is also the people’s lack of will to force Putrajaya to provide the badly needed national funds to build flood defences and develop the state.
from insurance perspective, there will be no claim can be made essentially.. it is because this flood can be classified by 'Act of God' . even there are reasons why it can be these massive. motor insurance, any property protection or others insurance will not ever can be claimed. this is because the insurance company cannot predict how great is the loss will happen due to flood, typhoon, earthquake or others anger of mothernature. the property also cannot be predict their market value. for instance, a house have a sum insured may be RM 1 000 000 at inception but by time, the tenants bring in antics vase, paint by the most expensive paint and renovate the house. but insurance company can give ex-gratia to the insured actually. but with carefully consideration. we can assume may be there are too many people have insurance policy. so the insurance company cannot afford any ex-gratia amount to the Kelantan's residents. but , Etiqa Insurance & Takaful Berhad (ETIQA) decided to do can a little charity. they plans to build houses to accomodate victims who lost their house due to the recent flood in the allocation Rm 6 000 000. it may not be enough for all Kelantan's resident. but it surely an effort showed by the wise insurance company.
the ministers said there will do some arrangement with insurance company to include flashflood and other 'Act of God' in insurance coverage.
p\s : actually flashflood in Kelantan reflect to us . Malaysians. what did we do for them? humans, what we did to our mothernature??
